BOY PUPS
Puppy
Growth and Development & Behavior between 3 to 7 weeks old
A puppy will be weaned between the ages of 3 and 7 weeks
During the
ages of 3 to 7 weeks its first teeth, or milk teeth will appear
A puppy is
taught basic behaviour disciplines from its mother
A puppy will
continue to develop by socializing with other dogs and animals and people
Puppies will
stand up and start walking
At the age
of 3 weeks a puppy will develop its sense of smell
At 3 weeks
the puppy will begin to bark and show social development such as wagging its tail, growling and baring its teeth
Up to the age
of 4 weeks the mother will be with the puppy almost constantly
The puppy has
good use of its legs and is able to chase
Between 4 and
5 weeks the mother will gradually spend time away from her puppies
Rapid growth
and development rate at this stage
Interaction
with litter mates leading to Order of Dominance
After weaning puppies
need to receive a series of vaccines in order to develop immunity on their own. Vaccinations for puppies generally include
distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, parvovirus, rabies, and sometimes bordetell
The puppies started eating soft food at 4 weeks of age. I'm hoping
the weather will warm up this week so they can start to go outside. They are starting to develop their personalities but please
keep in mind they are young and can change. They are in a pack right now so their personalities are developing by trying to
figure out their pack order. Depending on your home environment will determine their final development. For example, a dominant
puppy here upon changing into an environment where there is no pack can calm down since there is no one to compete with. Same
of a quiet laid back puppy. They don't want to fight for order here if they go into a home with no competition they could
come out of their shell. Same goes for socialization. We socialize them here with our kids and other animals but it is up
to you to keep the socialization up. Remember you are raising your puppy and your behavior and training determines his/her
outcome.

Hey Everyone!I’ve got some great news for you and your pets!
Over and over I am asked the
very same question from my new puppy buyers – what is the best way to house train my new puppy? This has always been a tricky answer because until recently there was no best way or worst way –
just the long way.Well thankfully that has all changed!
I was recently introduced
to a product called Potty Park.It literally is a toilet for dogs that can be used indoors or outdoors at your home, apartment or anywhere
else your dog may need somewhere to relieve itself.Essentially it’s your
own private little piece of the dog park anywhere you need it.
I have seen other dog
potties for sale and have been very skeptical because of the inherent dangers of all of the bacteria building up on these
units, but Potty Park is made from anti-bacterial and anti-microbial medical grade materials. In fact it’s the only true anti-microbial dog potty in the world!
Once I found out that the
White House uses Potty Parkfor Bo Obama I was sold!I mean, if there was a better dog potty
out there don’t you think they’d be using it?
Not only does it save your
floors from accidents and stains, but it also allows you to spend more quality time with your dog(s) and less time cleaning
up after them.
